The Rough Rock Tapes

Follow the story of two young cave adventurers venturing into Arizona’s vast deserts and deep underground. What they stumble upon is unexpected, and something they will most definitely remember for the rest of their lives.

Jack, 19, and Donny, 18, are two bright young explorers. Having grown up in the forests of Massachusetts, they have always loved seeking the unfindable in unreachable places and documenting their discoveries on home video. One day, they decide to travel to Arizona to search for a long-rumored mystery cave deep in the desert, first mentioned by a YouTuber who saw the cave and then mysteriously went missing. But upon their discovery, they will encounter something far darker and deeper than they could have ever imagined.

You will play as Jack as you traverse the narrow, cold, and sometimes even liminal spaces of this cave. Throughout the game, you must explore, survive threats, and solve mysteries. All as part of my goal to create the most chilling horror game ever made.

• This will be my first independent project, so please allow me time to perfect this game. The release window is still unknown, But i will be sharing screenshots to show development progress.

This story is fictional, but loosely inspired off the 2014 M Cave mystery.
